Task Description

Your task is to design and sew together a sleeve for an electronic device of your choice (e.g. phone, tablet or laptop). You are free to choose any material you like to complete the project.

It will be necessary to design a pattern for your sleeve before sewing it. You can do this either by hand or by using the graphics application of your choice and printing the result.

Once your pattern is complete, you can begin to sew it together. The following tools are allowed:

• sewing machine
• pins
• needle (to sew by hand)
• fabric marker
• iron
• fabric cutter and/or scissors

If you are happy with your sleeve, consider making a donation for material costs.

Tips

• Leave extra space on the pattern for every side you’ll have to sew together
• Choose a stitch appropriate to your material
